Teresa Peintner (BSc (Hons), NIMH) is a registered Medical Herbalist Practitioner based in London and South Tyrol, with over six years of experience in the field of Herbalism. She practices in the UK and Europe and offers consultations worldwide.
Teresa has been passionate about herbs and plants from a young age. Growing up with an innate understanding of herbalism in the Alps in Northern Italy, she started learning about herbs from her grandparents through their way of implementing holistic herbal practices as a natural part of daily life. Herbalism is an ancient tradition in the Alps and is passed on through generations in certain families.
Teresa further gained knowledge about herbal horticulture, harvesting and herbal remedy-making working on herb farms in the mountains and an herbal pharmacy in Italy.
She graduated from the University of Westminster London in 2020, and completed a 3-year Bachelors degree in Western Herbal Medicine, having covered 500 hours of clinical practice.
She is an official member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH), the UK's professional membership organisation that sets the highest standards of practice in herbal medicine.
As a healthcare provider, Teresa is devoted to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and expand skills and expertise to accomplish professional and clinical skills. Seminars and events visited within the last year include:
